Experience

Retired Senior Executive with over 30 years of experience in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Leadership in vision, innovation, and having a business-oriented approach to developing solutions. A Senior FAA SME consulting on aviation modernization efforts, possessing over 35 years of experience. Demonstrated skills in executive and technical leadership as well as national airspace systems operations, and program management and integration as a certified PMI program manager. He has lead programs internationally in oceanic air traffic services particularly with the successful deployment of the U.S. Oceanic Automation system (ATOP) and the Oceanic Dynamic Track System (DOTS). In addition, he was the senior executive in charge of the FAA’s air traffic automation system STARS. He has hands on program management experience in airport surface systems, terminal air traffic automation systems, weather and surveillance technologies, Remote Towers, Oceanic Automation, and noise monitoring and abatement. He has led both large and small groups in efforts to develop strategic approaches and plans to solve problems and define paths to future goals.
